Rachel Eichstadt

Mrs. Eichstadt enjoys getting to know each child and learning what he or she enjoys outside of school so that she can match their interests with books in the library. Her hope is that each child can find a book they love and spark a lifelong interest in reading. She never gives up on a student, and knows that sometimes it takes 20+ book recommendations before one strikes the right chord. Her favorite moment is when a student returns and requests book 2 in a series because he or she loved the first book! 

Mrs. Eichstadt is a Concordia University graduate and joins HCS from Highlander School after serving there for 10 years. In her spare time, Mrs. Eichstadt enjoys spending time with her family.  She has two sons, both graduates of the Carden Method.
