Third Grade

Third Grade will be taught by Mrs. D'Ana Dawson in the 2023-24 school year. Mrs. Dawson has 20 years of teaching experience.

As the oldest students of Lower Elementary, Highlands Christian’s third grade gets a taste of leadership. They love getting the privilege of key speaking parts in the musical programs. Students enjoy studying European countries, making elaborate paper dolls, and tasting international cuisines. Their creativity is nurtured all year long through writing and illustrating in personal class journals, reading riveting classics aloud, and working on various projects. Stepping into Mrs. Dawson’s thoughtfully decorated classroom forms special memories for students.
