Sixth Grade will be taught by Mrs. Debby Duncan, Mrs. Mary Jane Gilliam, and Mrs. Janet Reibenstein in the 2023-24 school year.
There is much to be said of the final year at Highlands Christian School. Sixth graders have long prepared for the many coveted privileges and responsibilities earned, whether that’s running carpool, reading to younger students, leading musical programs, a class trip to the Austin Capitol, or executing community service projects. Life skills will be developed through creating a stock portfolio, mastering study skills, and participating in real-world learning activities. The years of character development, confidence building, and taking responsibility seriously have all lead up to this point. Moving ahead to junior high, students are more than well-equipped both academically and socially.
