They enjoy time outside of the classroom for other engaging subjects such as French, music, musical programs, art, physical education, and library.  ART In addition to classroom art, students visit the art room weekly to explore a variety of mediums and techniques. Throughout the year, they paint, sketch, sculpt, and draw while learning about and emulating the great masters. Students refine their public speaking skills twice a year at performances of treasured musical programs. HCS offers conversational French with important grammatical areas taught within the context of the French culture. Book Fair, story times, access to check out books, and our Accelerated Reader (A.R.) program are sure to bring out the avid reader in your child.
