Melissa Rodriguez

Ms. Rodriguez is an accomplished vocalist and musician, having performed in concert band, marching band, and various choirs. She is a gifted communicator and instructor who enjoys sharing her love of music with her students. Ms. Rodriquez exudes joy that is contagious and knows how to make music fun for all students.  She combines education methods from scholars Kodály, Dalcroze, and Orff to create the perfect balance of music education. She enjoys watching her students build character, discipline, and confidence through music.      

Ms. Rodriguez joins HCS from Highlander School where she taught for 3 years.  She’s a talented flutist and teaches private voice and piano lessons.  She loves spending time with her family, whether cooking or watching movies together, it’s always a fun and enjoyable time!
