Mrs. Riney is a firm believer in the Carden Method. Having attended the Carden-based Highlander School from the age of three through sixth grade, Riney credits her Carden education as the firm foundation for her career as a writer and magazine editor.

Most recently, Mrs. Riney served as Marketing Director for her beloved Highlander School. She sees it as a great privilege to serve as Director of Admissions at Highlands Christian School, where she has the opportunity to introduce new families to the Carden philosophy that has made such a difference in her life.

Mrs. Riney holds a B.A. in English from Texas A&M University. In her free time, Riney and her husband, Ken, enjoy spending time in the Lake Highlands community with their three boys and golden retriever, Daisy.
