Apply to Highlands Christian School

Application Process:
We will begin accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year on Oct. 1, 2024. Early Admissions Deadline is November 7; this grants the applying family priority shadowing, evaluation and interview dates. Applications received after January 24, 2025 will be waitlisted.  

1. Submit Family Application
If you are a new family applying to Highlands Christian School, please begin by filling out a family application. This only needs to be completed once per family unit. Please list every child who will be applying. The family application will be processed once the $150 application fee has been paid.

2. Submit Student Application
When the family application is complete and the fee paid, our team will follow up by emailing individual student application links for each prospective student to the primary parent contact (as indicated on the family application). 

3. Shadowing Day, Student Evaluation and Family Interview
Once the student application has been submitted, a member of our team will email to schedule a shadowing day.

The Pre-K and Kindergarten shadow day choices are January 9, 14, 23 and 30. The Elementary and Middle School shadow day choices are January 10, 17, 24 and 31.

On the chosen shadowing day, your child will spend a morning in class at HCS, amongst his or her peers. During this time, one of our HCS teachers will conduct a student evaluation to assess your child's academic and social aptitude for admittance into Highlands Christian School. 

During each student's shadowing day, his or her parents will sit for a brief family interview with a member of our Admissions team. Both parents are required to attend. This is a great time for us to get to know your family and for you to ask any questions you may have about HCS. 

4. Admissions Decisions Emailed
All admissions decisions will be emailed to the parent contacts on Friday, March 7, 2025. All enrollment commitments must be received by Friday, March 17. After March 17, we will begin contacting those on our waitlist.

5. Tuition Agreement
For each student accepted to HCS, we will send a tuition agreement to the primary parent contact and begin collecting any necessary student records.
