We are accepting and processing applications for the 2026-2027 school year.
Nov. 7, 2025- Early Application Deadline
This grants the applying family priority scheduling for the Student Shadow Day and Family Interview.
Jan. 23, 2026- Application Deadline
Applications received after January 23, 2026 will be waitlisted.
Mar. 6, 2026- Admissions Decisions Emailed
Mar. 16, 2026- Commitment Deadline
All enrollment commitments must be received by this date.
- SCHEDULE A TOUR
Before applying to Highlands Christian School, we recommend that you learn more by scheduling a tour or attending an Admissions Open House. You will have the opportunity to observe firsthand our joy-filled classrooms and proven Carden Curriculum.
- SUBMIT APPLICATION (Includes $150 application fee per family)
Applications for the 2026-2027 school year are available. We will begin processing your application once we receive your completed application. For each applicant, we require teacher recommendation forms. For 1st-8th grade applicants, we will also need student academic records, standardized test scores, and diagnostic evaluation results (if applicable).

- SCHEDULE FAMILY INTERVIEW
Once you have completed the application, our Admissions Coordinator will reach out via email to schedule a Family Interview. During the Family Interview, the applicant’s parents will meet with a member of our Admissions’ team. The interview is a wonderful opportunity to get to know one another better and answer any remaining questions you may have.
- SCHEDULE STUDENT SHADOW DAY
Once you have completed the application, our Admissions Coordinator will reach out via email to schedule a Student Shadow Day.
Preschool and Kindergarten Applicants: No Shadow day is required.
1st-8th Grade Applicants: Shadow day is required on a school day. The applicant will shadow amongst peers in his/her current grade level.
- COMPLETE ASSESSMENTS
Preschool Applicants: No formal assessments required
Kinder-5th Applicants: Applicants must complete a third-party admissions test with Collaborative Academic Testing Service (CATS). These results will be reported to us by CATS, and you have the option to share your student's scores with other school to which you are applying. Testing is scheduled directly with CATS through their website.
6th-8th Applicants: Applicants must complete a third-party admissions test with Independence School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Testing is scheduled directly with ISEE through their website. These results will be reported to us by ISEE, and you have the option to share your student's scores with other schools to which you are applying.
